Podcast Meme

Ah poop… I’m in the middle of a blog hiatus (yeah I know I posted a really long post the other day – but it’s been in the works for a while) and I get tagged, not just by AV, but by Sammy as well!

Basically, I’m assuming that I’m supposed to mention my top three fav podcasts, then tag someone else.

This is problematic. I’m in the middle of organising the way I subscribe to my media and RSS feeds and the like (if anyone has suggestions for a cross-platform aggregator for RSS, podcasts and the like, that could have it’s data files shared across two installations on a dual-boot system, please do chime in) and right now I’m subscribed to nothing!

That being said, I’ll list three that either I listen to manually, or that I intend to subscribe to.

1. Grodscast/Grodsthink – The only podcast that I’ve listened to every episode of! Grodscast/think is currently my number one fav podcast. Perhaps sounding off to Lynne Kosky was worse than Howard being called a smear on the linen, but then I don’t have to take responsibility for it! I just listen to it! Grodscast/Grodsthink – not only thinking for you, but doing the dirty internecine work of the ALP as well! Subscribe here scumbags and spivs.

2. NASA’s Universe Audio Podcast – You never know. Antares could beat Deneb for the FGFA Galaxy Cup. Okay, that sounded a lot cooler when I thought about it. NASA has other podcasts here. I’ll let you make your own jokes about them. Philistines.

3. Philip Adams’ Late Night Live – Mainly for the interviews. Adams does less speaking then, so he can’t stuff up as much. Can he? Besides, I liked his interviews with Paul Davies in the 1990s, and his Unspeakable Adams books were fun to read.

Okay. I Tag Mikey. Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaa! Right in his drive thru! And I’ll tag John Surname, only because he pretends to hate being tagged even more than me!

Ah, another LNLer. A popular podcast Is LNL. I must confess I am a poddy not a glady.

Did you catch the one a while back with Paul Keating on talking about Jack Lang?

I don’t like Canberra babylon for some reason but I love Shapiro.

I missed that one, CAS. I’ve missed a few as I’ve abandoned ye old free-to-air, analog radio technology. My last recollections of LNL are discussions of cosmology and religion from a few years ago.

That and I’ve snobbed PA a little over what I’ve seen as journalistic inadequacies, which upon reflection may have been an over-reaction.

I’m looking to return to the fold so to speak, not needing PA to be perfect to get anything of value out of his work.
