I of course expect the Pope to step in and do something. I do recall him citing Ernst Bloch on the importance of humanity as central to the ethical concerns of Christendom.

I’d hate to see Catholics have to put up with Wafer-centrism as a Church dogma. They have enough on their hands as it is.
